Fiestas are celebrated on 29th September in honour of San Miguel, and on 16th April there is a religious procession to Santa Engracia.
The village has 122 inhabitants and is divided into two centres. The large houses are well spaced out and typical of the 18th century bearing baroque coats of arms; others, from the 19th century, have a cubic structure and a more stately appearance. The 18th-century church is baroque in style and is joined to the rectory.
3 km from Uitzi, on the road to Beruete, is the chapel, ermita de Santa Engracia.
